Flipped Not Retired, LLP exists to help satisfy our clients’ desires to have and enjoy quality furniture, by beautifying and extending the life and usefulness of antique, heirloom, vintage, and quality pieces.
We are Andy and Cid McNeilly. We met in college at the University of Illinois while we were both studying architecture. After a 43-year career as a registered, practicing Architect, Andy retired. Cid spent most of those 43 years doing lots of other things that were not architecture related like serving on our local school board, operating a Mother’s Day Out Program at our church, serving in a wide variety of other ways at our church, leading a non-profit organization, and serving on the board of our neighborhood association.
Our backgrounds in architecture have fueled our love for the design process that assesses a client’s needs and desires, and provides a solution uniquely suited for each client. All of this contributes to what Flipped Not Retired, LLP is today.
We have three sons, three daughters-in-law, and 15 grandchildren. We love each of them more than words can express.
Our services include refinishing, refurbishing, and customization with an architectural eye for design, style, and detail. Pieces may be client-owned or sourced by and/or purchased from Flipped Not Retired, LLP. Regional pick-up/delivery and nationwide shipping are also available.
